Well we've had a movie night, which was rather enlightening for numerous reasons. If you've ever wondered what it looks like when a camel gives birth go see "The Story of the Weeping Camel" but it also gave us a chance to see how beautiful the Mongolian landscape is.
We've also had a Trivia Night. It was a great way to end my ANZAC day.
And we've certainly sold our fair share of Cadbury chocolate. As a result some of my Uni friends have a new found addiction to Caramello Koalas.
But we've also had numerous donations from relatives, friends, neighbours, people from Credo and people from our churches.
But most importantly we've had hundreds of people praying for us and God providing for us abundantly.
So I want to say on behalf of the whole team, thank you so much to everyone who has supported us.
Fundraising is one of the most humbling things I've ever had to do and I have already learnt so much about trusting God and his provision through this. I definitely have a new found respect for anyone who is involved in full-time ministry and is dependant on others for their income.
So praise God that He is generous and that He leads others to be generous too!
